Good first Friday of the year, dear listeners! Have you made any New Year’s resolutions already? Yeah, we haven’t either, don’t worry.

BUT, coming from Dresden / Leipzig, Carving Void does have and left us in the last days of 2024 with the promise of new material to come, with this single titled “Fragments Under the Black Sun“.

Pretty self-describing in itself, the band simply describes this song as a “punch to the throat of the rising fascist forces”, so we are gonna celebrate this new year properly with this feature and this promise, clad in the filthy and gruesome mix of old school death metal with hardcore. Killer riffs, a ripping voice and drums to crush skulls/study to with mandatory grooves and excellent solo-ing, this almost 5-minute long single is an incredible presentation for a new full-length, setting already the bar quite high in quality and execution.
