ABMN is growing! More genres, more voices! Come build it with us!

ABMN has existed for over four years as a radical left music platform focused on black metal as the root of RABM, and as a response to the genre’s long-standing relationship with reactionary ideologies.

Over time, the network has naturally embraced other genres through artists who share the same commitments, and for a while now, the collective has been working toward a clearer shift in direction: opening the space to antifascist voices outside of extreme music and black metal. Steadily, from here on, we will continue moving towards that goal. Whilst black metal stays as the origin of this platform, it will open to more genres and bands that share ABMN‘s standards.

Because of this, we are currently looking for collaborators.

What we are looking for is not short-term involvement, but sustained participation. This does not mean intensive or time-consuming work -everyone involved balances this alongside jobs, studies, and personal lives- but it does require reliability, communication, and a willingness to stay involved over time. Many tasks take only a small amount of time each week, but they depend on consistency and shared responsibility.

Areas where support is needed include:

Graphic design (thumbnails and visual materials)
Video creation (YouTube uploads, shorts, reels)
Reception, presentation, and research of submissions
Organisation (calendars, workflows, internal coordination)
Proposing, participating, and writing political statements
Writing reviews

ABMN functions as an anonymous collective. Not for secrecy’s sake, but to understand the project as a shared voice rather than a set of individual profiles. As with many radical left initiatives, our work is public and political, and it can come with risks. Anonymity allows us to focus on collective output, mutual care, and long-term continuity rather than personal visibility.

So, if you’ve read this far and feel like contributing to what we currently call Antifascist Black Metal Network, we’d love to hear from you.
