Review
Chaotic. Noisy. Much like a typical Monday, ‘A Hole Beneath the Home We Shared‘ ‘s debut album ‘A Hole Beneath the Home We Shared‘ brings us our daily dose of chaos – a skilful blend of blackened hardcore and grind elements. While the energy may ebb and flow, the oppressive atmosphere never does, bringing a crushing feel that can be particularly felt in “Collected Messages of Abuse“.
It’s a heavy mood for sure; one that’s not too far away from the feeling you get looking at today’s news and watching fascism on the rise everywhere.
And yet strangely, it’s oddly motivating as well – seriously, this reviewer got sidetracked doing work because of this album. Each influence comes through well, and never feels too overpowering, and for a debut LP, it is certainly impressive.
A relatively short and sweet LP, ‘A Hole Beneath the Home We Shared‘ is certainly the album you need to get you through a day like today, and we look forward to what ‘A Hole Beneath the Home We Shared‘ has to offer in the future. To sum it up in a sentence, just look at the band’s own words – “it’s a fucking chaotic masterpiece“.
