Review

Hi! Today we have another round of “fuck off genocide apologists, this page supports the Palestinian people” directly from one of our favourite scenes, that of the Netherlands, in the form of the not very subtly named NETANSATAN, from our dear Partisan PAVL, who we recently covered with their project Imagine a Boot. Then again, we are fans of politics made in an unsubtle way, so we’re going to make it even more obvious: this compares Bibi Netanyahu, the current commander of the genocide, to Satan, and the process of genocide and apartheid to “Hell Manifest”. And what is less subtle, in musical terms, than war metal? Well, maybe noise, but war metal is fitting for a purpoted “war” which is really just (let’s say it again!) a genocide under “defensive” pretenses – and where this fash-filled subgenre of black metal barks words that are usually very thinly veiled references to social Darwinism and racial supremacism, Partisan PAVL has managed to use the same ingredients to unveil the racism of Zionism and mainstream Israeli society (and of their many minions around the world) in a barrage of riffs and blastbeats that is in no way less virulent and destructive. And, more important, it is WAY more effective in conveying a deserving message – that, again, Palestine must be free, from the goddamn river to the fucking sea!
