The champions of antifascist entheogenic black metal are back, thankfully, with a new release called ‘Wiedersehen‘ and a new video called “Mirror Aura” that we are featuring today.
And as expected, it’s weird, atmospheric and hypnotic. Less metal, black or otherwise, than psychedelic rock and drone, this song (and album) to dark ambient folk mixed with some choice haze taking the “pro-mind-expansion” mission of the band to its next level.
If you like the weirder parts of Earth or Harvestman but done with a blackened lo-fi aesthetic, then this might be just what you are looking for, and the band’s clear politics and devotion to underground is a much-appreciated cherry (or better yet, mushroom) on top. Follow the haze to the liberated land…
