Review

OK, this is a weird one, and it’s probably gonna piss off a few black metal purists, which is ironic considering their supposed allegiance to a genre obsessed with triggering folk.

Beach Gore only crosses the border to black metal slightly, being primarily a synthwave/synthpop band, but they have a certain lo-fi kvlt quality, so we’ll allow it (not that we are qualified to gatekeep). So, on a scale of Carpenter Brut and Perturbator being the equivalent to generic mainstream black metal go-tos, Beach Gore are synthwave’s equivalent to Old Nick (complimentary).

So, think you can dig it? We do, fuck the haters!
