Fans of Blackened hardcore, listen up! Salz, a solo act from Germany have released their first EP, and it’s very good !
It’s very rare to find a release where everythin is unforgettable, but ‘Allein’ is one of those productions
Full of musicality, with a nice and complex composition which show an artistic maturity, their songs are deeply engaging.
In the matter of 4 songs, Salz manages to showcase a huge variety of skills, tones and music from different background, punk, hardcore, black metal, and the lead guitar melodies from metalcore.
We especially liked how the guitars would dialog, with the lead guitar paving the way to the song, the rythm guitar following and complementing. No instrument is left behind, no bleal, emotionless composition. With a single EP, they have reached a maturity, a complexity, and an indentity that many bands would take years to find!
Salz as really brought up all their skills to offer us an excellent EP, that can be listened over and over again.
